Abstract

Plinko Bot was designed by applying concepts from previous labs into a real-life design. The project requires basic electronics knowledge about motors using MOSFETS, 555 Timers, sensors using lab components as well as troubleshooting skills and teamwork. Plinko Bot used the same idea as the Plinko game, making the robot attempt to bounce back and forth at least three times during its way to the final destination. By attaching some sort of sensors, the robot can turn completely autonomous whenever it detects the wall, then go back to its way to finish the run forward to the assigned destination.
